No more studying!!!!

Just a quick update although I'm sure everyone already knows. I don't have to study anymore, neither does Shawn. What a relief as we've been in school forever. I graduated in May, became an official pharmacist July 17th after passing my boards (I was completely convinced I had failed) and now work at a small independent pharmacy where I am the only pharmacist there and absolutely love it. Shawn is a teacher and since we moved states he had to take three more tests to become officially licensed in Texas. We found out yesterday that he also passed all three (of course he did) so now we are both official. James started Montessori school two weeks ago and is doing so well. He is learning a ton including a little more edge to his already challenging 2 year old personality. Life is good in Lubbock!

Hello!

Everyone else is blogging so I figured why not? I have a cute kid to show off. We moved back to Lubbock about 3 months ago but getting the house all fixed up like I want is a continual process. I wanted to do something cute with James' room and since he loves trucks I figured I'd deck it out with different trucks/cars. James has the Montgomery car gene and loves everything related to cars, trucks and trains. He can recognize different cars just by looking at the front or the back and can recognize the models of cars that everyone in my family drives. It's really weird. I wanted to do James' room relatively cheap so I figured I could take some pictures myself. I took pics of the cars at my dad's lot and found some other car related things to hang up. My mom and I worked and worked to get all the pictures even and level so it could look straight. it was a very frustrating process because the pictures were just on foam board so if they fell or something they wouldn't hurt James. Anyways, it turned out cute and I'll post some pics but the best part was after I finished I go back into James' room and find him mimicking what I was doing all afternoon. It was so cute but I also wanted him to stop for fear that the dumb pictures would fall down and I've had to start the process all over again. I don't know what it is about the Buddy Holly glasses but he loves them! Silly boy.
